Have to click away SayMyName message before I can accept a call #60

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Get a call
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
In previous versions it just read the name and I swiped down the bar to accept
the call.
Now there is a SayMyNAme icon on the bottom of the screen and a writing above
it saying "Click anywhere to mute SayMyName and go back to callscreen". This
kind of freezes the display until I tap it.
So for accepting a call I have to click once to get rid of the message, then I
can swipe the bar.

What version of the product are you using?
2.2.6

Please provide any additional information below.
HTC Desire, Android 2.1-update1

I also had this problem, until I discovered the cause.

Seems a new feature has been added to a recent update. If you go into the
settings, the second option is "Show Mute-screen". Disable this to solve the
problem.

While I believe this fixes the issue in the short term, I think that the user
shouldn't have to click off SayMyName to simply answer a call when this option
is enabled. There should be a way to add this functionality without 'breaking'
answering calls.

Great, thanks. It was confusing because I am using the german version, so the
settings screen is in German and the message was in English. Didn't get the
link between the two.

Now everything works fine.

@Dev: Pls close.

No problem.

For more information about this new feature, and why I've added it, see

I'll leave this issue open for other users who are confused.

next update will disable "show mute-screen" automatically.
