I can confirm that it's not just your device—I've seen the same on (a LineageOS version based on) Android 9

I've noticed this problem too. Exactly the same behavior, with the cheat sheet being cut off at the top of the keyboard.

Unfortunately I haven't had the time or resources to work on this app much lately, so I can't promise a fix from me any time soon. :(
