wght today goes from 1 to 1,000 which is valid per OT 1.8.3 spec but CSS2 has established 100 200 .. 900 and while CSS3 Fonts Module has 1 to 1000 now as valid, for fallback legacy support its best to keep the range within 100 to 900.
