I think you can add a great CMS using XML as flat file system : pluxml (pluxml.org) Cheers

Not a bad CMS - does it use Markdown?

Not except by using an addon but this cms is really not thought for using markdown (HTML is stored in XML file...) Just as remark: october cms is not a flat file one. Thks
