javax.bluetooth.BluetoothConnectionException is missing from package

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open a connection to a non existing host.
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected:
javax.bluetooth.BluetoothConnectionException

instead:
java.io.IOException: Failed to connect socket
    at com.intel.bluetooth.BluetoothPeer.connect(Native Method)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version 1.2.0 on WindowsXP SP2

Please provide any additional information below.
From the javax.bluetooth.BluetoothConnectionException javadoc:
This BluetoothConnectionException is thrown when a Bluetooth connection
(L2CAP, RFCOMM, or OBEX over RFCOMM) cannot be established successfully.

Apparently this is defined in the API so this is a quite valid issue.
