clean install #104

Hey, after you pushed tag v.1.5, i think may be before, when i do this repro clone from the main i have no current version and not the new settings.

after i do make update and make check and apply it asks me do i want this merge.... can you check this?

eventeull I was only asked at:

make basic make advanced

NOTE: If you execute these commands again, all existing files in the vars/custom directory will be overwritten.

Not having a version on a fresh install is expected as the file that tracks the version does not exist yet
