I can't send regular text or receive regular text on my samsung galaxy s3 anymore #484

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. try to send a text and it tells you text not sent would you like to try and 
send it again you say yes but it still won't send it
2.can't receive texts at all 
3. this is the only thing that I'm aware of that's not working on my phone

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
text message would you like to retry

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

samsung galaxy s3   using 3.3.3

I have turned off talkback but I still can't send or receive texts
