I think the purpose for the modification was to let all the monsters attack 
immediately instead of wating for a second delay.

So maybe it's supposed to be

aiTask = ThreadPoolManager.getInstance().scheduleAiAtFixedRate(this, 0, 1000);

Anyway. i'm just guessing.
