We already compile on arm macbooks and android arm devices, so I think porting sioyek to windows arm should be pretty trivial, however, I don't have an arm machine to test it myself, maybe someone with an arm machine can help?
I see. I'm considering getting an arm device. I will try as soon as I get it.
Note that this only will be possible once the libraries we depend on (mainly Qt) support windows arm. I don't think qt currently supports windows arm but I think it is expected in the next release.
For those folks who need it working on fedora arm64: https://gist.github.com/life00/b06dbf4e4459c15881dd94eb32135e20
@ahrm I thought QT already has support for windows on arm: https://www.qt.io/blog/qt-for-windows-on-arm-may21-update :
Qt 6.8 was not released when I made that comment.
Hi. I use Sioyek every day. Thanks for an amazing software. Do you plan on supporting Arm windows devices such as Copilot+ PCs?
