Red/green color contrasts #32

Red/green color contrasts can confuse colorblind readers; please consider recoloring figures to avoid red/green color contrasts.

For Figure 2, we used a multi-hue colorblind-safe gradient palette from ColorBrewer2: http://colorbrewer2.org/#type=sequential&scheme=YlGnBu&n=3

This same palette was applied to extended data figure 2.

In addition, all figures were reviewed using a deuteropic filter (Sim Daltonism) to ensure that no color selections would cause confusion for readers with deuteranopia. This led to minor changes in color selection for Figure 3f, and associated Extended Data figure 6.
