Adapt the code to the libraries used #8

Use the classes or functions provided by libraries instead of creating our own alternatives. Make the code more coherent with the API used.

Tasks:

[x] Rename classes and functions.
[x] Remove redundant classes and functions.

Acceptance Criteria:

There should be no duplicates.
Our API should match those we are abstracting.
