I am currently trying to setup a new Runpod instance using "ghcr.io/ai-dock/linux-desktop:latest" and enable Coturn running on a VPS in order to improve the video streaming bitrate as I was advised by a Runpod admin that the Linux-desktop image uses public Coturn servers by default which from my initial tests are very laggy and not exceeding 1.5mbps video streaming quality.
As I am an amateur regarding programming, I am trying my best to piece together the information needed to make this work so that I can gain smooth remote desktop access to the Linux-desktop on Runpod.
Hi there,
I am currently trying to setup a new Runpod instance using "ghcr.io/ai-dock/linux-desktop:latest" and enable Coturn running on a VPS in order to improve the video streaming bitrate as I was advised by a Runpod admin that the Linux-desktop image uses public Coturn servers by default which from my initial tests are very laggy and not exceeding 1.5mbps video streaming quality.
I have read through https://github.com/ai-dock/linux-desktop/blob/main/docker-compose.yaml and tried some different combinations of env variables but have not been able to get the pod to connect to my VPS.
What are the relevant env variables I should be concerned with enabling in the pod?
I am currently running Coturn within a Docker container on Google Cloud as per https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CxDoJGMakA&list=LL&index=1
As I am an amateur regarding programming, I am trying my best to piece together the information needed to make this work so that I can gain smooth remote desktop access to the Linux-desktop on Runpod.
Cheers
