Consider adding this, but I would say it is optional. I have ignored their other suggestions from this comment because why remove descriptive information?

who assembled the initial figure? we need to use coherent data sets, so this seems likely to be Tim, or take the option to not include. Perhaps some text would be adequate. I have to re-read the section before commenting further

I think they mean defects by year? we can do that, it would probably take me less than an hour to track down and plot it. I might need some help to get it in, I doubt it will show anything interesting though. Defects tend to track closely with added and modified LOC. I will add a comment to 47 to that effect.
