This PR adds the node-dynamics and absolute-growth layers to the GeoGraphViewer.

Changes:

• adds node dynamic viewing layer
• adds absolute growth viewing layer
• adds numerous single patch metrics as hover over (perimeter, area in ha, shape index, fractal dimension, ...)
• adds support to select pickle protocol when saving the graph (useful for cross-platform portabilility to binder in particular)
• significant speedup of the Viewer construction routine (> 4x speedup)
• sample notebooks (demo-5) for GeoGraphViewer on a graph which contains timeline changes

• minor bug fixes and compatibility improvements with the binder

  EDIT by @rdnfn: In the last few commits:

  • added layer_update_request() to avoid each button separately refreshing the layers of the viewer, every time the current graph changes (this is experimental and turned off by default). When turned on it collects multiple requests and only executes one.
  • limited the length of the log (now a viewer parameter) and set its default level to 'WARNING'. Long logs significantly impacted performance when used (more so than calling layer update a few more times).

@rdnfn @herbiebradley Ok just fixed the pickle cross-platform problem and tested all notebooks with the binder environment. They now all work and I executed them once such that it has the static information pre-loaded if people want to inspect while the binder image is loading. As soon as we push these updates, all notebooks in the Binder will run smoothly 😉
