It would be fun to have a flatland dynamics demo application showing real railroad infrastructure in work.
The demonstration infrastructure should contain conceptual signal blocks - means multi-resource allocator must be used. Trains coming from one side and going through a station and going to another piece of infrastructure should be modeled as a simple start - target service intention. The agents weren't supposed to stop at the train station, just travel through this microscopic real-world infrastructure would be a good starting point.
Intermediate stops can not be modeled as serivce intention - this could be implemented later on.
