Thank you very much for your contribution. I got a question, how did you tested ti out?

I honestly don't remember :S I wrote a comment here thinking this was a sender + receiver pair. I vaguely remember writing a sender and testing the pair against eachother, but I don't seem to have committed the code. If that's true, I measured the sender's signals with an oscilloscope.

And I must have used whatever DMX equipment we had lying around the workshop at the time, though I'm afraid I don't know what they might have been.

Nowadays, I would use an Arduino/ESPduino with a DMX shield. I also have recent, untested (but oscilloscope verified) ATmega328P DMX-512 sender code with I²C input, if you're interested.
