Error I had that could have been fixed a lot quicker with debugging: Extra back slash in http://127.0.0.1:8086/api/users/authenticate/

• [ ] Start backend using Debugging

  

• [ ] Set break point at the beginning of endpoint code

  

• [ ] Start in frontend with split screen loading source for an API fetch using GET.

  

  When trying to log in, I get a 404 error which means that the server could not find the requested web page.

• [ ] Set break point on fetch, inside .then, inside .fetch

  

• [ ] Run frontend, screen capture break at fetch while examining Body

  

• [ ] Press play on frontend, observe stop inside of backend

  

• [ ] Press step over on backend until you have obtained data from database, screen capture Python Object

  

• [ ] Press play b

• [ ] Return to frontend debug session

  

• [ ] Step in until you see data, screen capture capturing break point and Data.

1.9/2 - The debugging is done on the login, not the Cpt. Overall, the debugging is highlighted well.
