Bugfix: revert deleted .gitignore and .eslintrc.json files #9

Quick fix that reverts commit efc2977dc2ea65ff08a26548edc1db6c0de77354.

Will need to investigate why this happens. This fix does not fully address #8 but simply puts master back to normal for now.
