We want our online presence to be something everyone can help with. People with technical skills can help with the programming on the website, but we also need people to send in their ideas, write articles and help with the reviewing.

It's not just about the website either. Twitter, Facebook and Google+ are way more effective ways to promote the club so we need people to help out by posting to social media and helping keep the site in sync.

The first step towards this is to write an article about how to contribute to the club's online presence. I was thinking a quick 'getting started' guide should be on the website and more detailed information should be on GitHub

I'm assuming that using a mobile device is the main reason why I'm struggling to add labels. The easiest way I have found so far is: 1) post issue 2) switch to desktop mode 3) edit post and add label from there

What should I be looking out for while posting an issue?

@mowat27 how would I reference/link two issues i.e. When I talked about club history in the biography issue?

Reference them with a hash sign and GH will create a link when you submit the comment. For example, this one is #11

Check out this article. It's all about what you can do using GitHub Issues https://github.com/blog/831-issues-2-0-the-next-generation
