App closes automatically..

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open any document.
2. Close the document and get back to shelf.
3. The app closes automatically within 5 seconds.

What is the expected output?
-app should exit when i want it to (obviously).

What do you see instead?
-It exits abruptly.

What version of the product are you using?
- version 1.4.2

On what operating system?
-Android 2.3.5

What device are you using?
-HTC Desire HD

Please provide any additional information below.
-It works perfectly while reading the document, but the app 
exits as soon as I get back to the shelf. Please fix.
