"Busy" indicator shown in the bookshelf/book-list only during folder scan. If
you set as Library root folder with huge amount of sub-folders/files it can be
long time.
During book reading busy indicator shown only during page decoding. if you set
high value for "Pages in memory"/"Number of decoding threads" and has small
amount of free memory it can be long.
If indicator indeed shown always - it is definitely a bug. Please try to set
library root to folder without sub-folders/few books and check again.

I tried to set the auto scan directory to an empty directory, but the busy
indicator is still there. But when I press the"bookmark" button (the one in
the top right, after the search button, which looks like a bookmark, though I
am not sure how it should be called) twice, the busy indicator disappeared.

Btw, i didn't notice anything strange while reading. The busy indicator only
appears in the window for the list of recent files.

OK. Then it seems to be a bug. Did you tried 1.4.2 version? Is there the same
behavior?

Is 1.4.2 the last version? I always let it auto update, so I don't really know
the version number. I didn't notice such a behavior in the past, but this
maybe because I was not careful enough on the past.

Yesterday we uploaded 1.5.0 to the market.
You can find all versions here in Downloads section.

I tried 1.4.2. No such problem. The difference is obvious: in 1.4.2, the top
bar has no space left for displaying the busy indicator. The button
arrangement of the two versions are different.
