Possible enhancement: smooth scroll to the right

This would be for reading pdfs at very high zoom ratios (i.e. the page is wider 
than the screen):

Touching on the right hand side of the screen would scroll smoothly to the 
right to allow reading the whole page. Touching on the left hand side, would 
return quickly the page to the left.

Maybe some sort of automatic smooth right scroll, down-one-line, quick return 
to the left could also be implemented, but I guess it would be more difficult.
