From original thread.

Application need to be send after 12th March as per GSoC or we can have a review of it earlier too? Are you mentor or previous GSoC student or participating this year?

The application deadline is March 27th.

Between February 12th and March 27th I'll be reviewing applications and helping discuss project ideas.

So, to answer your question, "we can have a review of it earlier too?" -- yes.

@redblobgames goes

I think after 12 March, you're allowed to submit the application as "draft" and then you can ask the mentor to give you comments. Once you're finished with comments you can mark it as "final". Or you can put the draft application on gist or google docs or some other site, and ask the mentor to review that.

You are welcomed to send me a draft anytime now and I'll do my best to review them up front.

I'd rather start receiving drafts sooner rather than earlier: the closer to the deadline you send the closer you'll be to the peak of volume of drafts and the less time I'll have to look at each individually.

Engage early, engage often.

hi @samuelgoto can we mail you the drafts ?

samuelgoto commented 6 years ago

If you haven't gotten to a sample of your work, email privately is fine. Send me a google doc with comment access so we can collaborate to brainstorm some ideas.

Otherwise, like written here, kick off a new thread/issue so we can all discuss together.
