Limit List of Countries/ Protected Areas/ Trainings/ etc to specific region (maybe by URL) #6

I envision that you can link from PIPAP aka Pacific Regional RIS to the central RIS and have it only display items that relate to a specific region in our case the Pacific region. This includes List of Countries in the Dropdown, Maps, Protected Areas, trainings, etc.

It helps trick the user into thinking they are visiting a localed version of the RIS.

Of course there would be a link that would take them to the Central RIS that display information from all regions

Of course, that's why we kept harping on about rest services :)

All of the data currently available in the RRIS is exposed by one rest service or another. So you can harvest it and create tables, charts, dropdowns, maps, etc...
