update data without refresh #12

[ ] have a button to update. only get what was updated since last update.
[ ] have a reload button that refreshes all data.
[ ] allow to periodically check for updates on a set schedule (default: 10s)
[ ] warn lock/race conditions if status is updated upstream

preferably there is a way for the client to detect when a change is made and automatically get the update like how firebase works
