Sorry, the file type is invalid even when it is .TGS format #2037

hi,

I did an animation in AE on my windows 10. Exported using bodymovin plugin. Successfully converted to .tgs file

Added stickers to my pack on telegram.

an error stating "Sorry, the file type is invalid. Please convert your image to the.TGS format." 2

But I did upload a .tgs file format from exporting from AE

for my method in AE, I combined two compositions into a new composition (I call it A). When It shows the error I did a couple of test. The only test that allowed a successful upload of stickers to telegram was only if I deleted one of the compositions nested in composition (A).

It seems that error will occur when I have more than one composition with a new composition. Why is that so? How can I resolve this issue?

Het ppcD-er!

There are two working solutions, depending on your PC it works one or the other.

The first one is to rename the file to .TGS in capital letters (mostly works in Windows).

The second way is to resize the AE composition to 512x512 instead of 100x100 (works on Mac).

I hope this solution helps to the ones that still Google for an answer to the problem!! 😎

@timofeen but resize it in 512x512 is valid only for stickers, what about animated emojis?
