hi, unfortunately pngs don't work with bodymovin in AE 2018. They work with a newer version of AE.

it seems like puppet tool is also not supported. Will there be plans to implement it?
I also have issues with the gradient which I just published. If you have time, could you take a look?

Tried using Bodymovin today to export my animation in After Effects 2018
Issue encountered was it being stuck rendering the png files.
Figured I'll do a test on it and hid all the png which worked fine because it rendered finish.
The scripting writing path under preference is ticked, tried uninstalling and reinstalling but issue still persists.
Question is if bodymovin actually supports png? Because it's not rendering it.
