Version Question: v5.7.4 in Creative Cloud, v5.8.1 in git repo - which should I use? #2713

What did you do? Please explain the steps you took before you encountered the problem.

  1. Installed according to these instructions: https://airbnb.io/lottie/#/after-effects?id=installing-bodymovin using zxp Installer and .zxp directly from here: https://airbnb.io/lottie/#/after-effects?id=installing-bodymovin
  2. Attempted to export a composition from a project file - but received errors (see below)

  3. Uninstalled that version (via zxp Installer)

  4. Installed via Adobe Creative Cloud instead image
  5. Attempted to export the same composition from the same project file - but received (different) errors (see below)

Note: this was all done on January 31 2022, so the .zxp downloaded was the most recent as of that date

What did you expect to happen?

I expected to have similar results but got different errors (for the same .aep project) from each version.

From Version 5.7.4: Got expression-related errors (determined this via the chrome inspect console) From Version 5.8.1: Successfully completed all expressions (I think), but the export seemed to hang after going through & building all of the charHelper layers. There were no errors in chrome inspector so nothing to indicate why it was hanging.

Please Note: I'm not looking to diagnose the errors themselves with this issue - I simply want to know which version I should be using so that I can diagnose the correct issue (and will seek help accordingly as necessary from there).
