Scroll bar appears on airbug.com home page in Firefox with no scroll use #67

Description: On the right side of the airbug.com home page in the Firefox browser scroll bar appears when there is no need, or ability to, scroll vertically. Bar does not appear in chrome or safari in same situation.

Repo:

  1. Open airbug.com in Firefox
  2. Scroll bar appears on right hand side https://www.evernote.com/shard/s23/sh/f4547924-ae2b-48fb-813e-c2fa3ae10b55/ab6c966520ee1530ccbf071c78e77608

Expected: Scroll bar should not appear unless scroll is necessary in browser window for size or length of page.

Environment: Mac OSX 10.8.3 Firefox 19.0.2 MacBook Air 2GHz core i7 8GB ram

This was caused by 1) Lack of proper cross browser testing before this was released. 2) Lack of proper QA process

What we can do 1) Ensure that all UI based features are tested across browsers before being released 2) Implement cross browser testing process in QA
