OAuth authorization in the Klaviyo connector

Relevant information

Description: We are currently using Airbyte to integrate with various services, including Klaviyo. However, we have encountered a significant limitation with the Klaviyo connector: it only supports API key authorization. This requires each of our customers to obtain an API key and submit it, which can be cumbersome and less secure.

Klaviyo has recently introduced a feature that allows the creation of an app to connect via OAuth. This method is more secure and user-friendly for our clients. Implementing OAuth support in Airbyte for the Klaviyo connector would greatly enhance the security and usability of the integration.

Request:

Add support for OAuth authorization in the Klaviyo connector.

Thank you for considering this feature request. We believe it will significantly improve the Airbyte platform and benefit many users.

Hi,

I wanted to follow up on the request for OAuth authorization in the Klaviyo connector. We currently ask each client to create an API key and send it to us, which is time-consuming and impractical. Klaviyo introduced OAuth this year to make this process easier and more secure, but Airbyte's connector doesn’t yet support it.

Adding OAuth support would streamline client onboarding and improve security. I hope we can revisit this feature request and explore potential next steps.
