Not sure if it is a bug or a feature, but this driver doesn't work with dnscrypt-proxy, even if I allow inbound access to port 53 via 127.0.0.1 and ::1 on nftables. Have you deliberately restricted this sort of access on security grounds?
It works fine with another driver with the same setup.
