bump package versions #63

Upgrade packages and audit vulnerabilities can that be addressed without breaking changes.

I might be very wrong about this, but would we also want to update package.json with these version numbers?

package.json is usually for minimum functional version specification as far as I understand, so it is fine. I'll update it for the sake of being clean though!
