Add iRPlus Stats API into ADC formal API #753

Discussion of the ability to better count in #480

General consensus is that a lot of work went into the iRPlus Stats API - https://github.com/ireceptor-plus/WP2/blob/master/specs/stats-api.yaml

Suggested that this be considered as an official ADC API.

@bcorrie For an official ADC API, are you suggesting that the spec would get moved into air-standards repository, or stay in its current repository? Put in the ADC API spec directly, or as another spec file?

Note that there have been some important updates to the spec past the stats-1.0.0 tag

I am not sure. My feeling is that this might be a separate API like /airr/stats/v1. More link the async API I would envision, but could be convinced otherwise.
