Service Conditions Filters #50

It would be useful to find a way to accommodate service conditions which are generally user-defined categories that define the conditions under which a particular service at a specific site are provided. Based on the copy of our tables I have on my computer (which is pretty old), we had the following with a list of options for each: application procedure, hours, fee structure, payment source, special meals, languages, agency transportation (Y/N), home visits/delivery (Y/N), subsidy/scholarship (Y/N), child care (Y/N), court approved (Y/N). The service conditions are entered on the resource side and service preferences (with the same options listed) are selected on the transaction side. The list of records matching the service, geographic and other parameters are narrowed using the filter. I am not familiar with all the software packages, but I know that Refer has this capability and, based on looking at samples of public websites using the software, I suspect that Resource House does as well.

It would be great if we could get people to submit copies of their filters for purposes of comparison, and even better if we could find a way to at least agree on names for filters everyone has in common.

Please see my comment on issue #4 as it relates to this.

I agree that conditions should be included. I also agree, that we should look at ones that are in use by a majority so that we are all using the same terminology - but there are many that only a few would use...is there a way to capture this custom data?
