[WINDOWS] Cannot playback MP4 with sound #251

Windows 10 latest build
AIR 33.1.050 for Desktop

I was just rebuilding an old AIR App with the latest version and Netstream now doesnt play Mp4 which have sound. It still works with MP4s which dont have sound but as soon as I try using AAC or MPEG soundtracks the MP4 doenst start - it just freezes on the first frame.

Thats sad because I have like 20 apps I just have to rebuild due the latest iOS version. PLEASE HELP!

Same here too - Can't play MP4 videos, First frame is displayed then it stalls. However not yet tested if it's related to audio.

This problem relates to AIR Mac and Windows for all SDKs above 32.0089 Including latest 33.1.1.98

Workaround is to use Air 32.0089 for Mac and Win apps

Please prioritise as lots of us use MP4 video.

Still present with SDK 33.1.1.300 on Windows.

Why Harman doesn't close issues with comment about AIR version to check? Release_Notes_AIR_SDK_33.1.1.345.pdf says that it has been closed.

Many other issues has outdated status. Please close and comment they. It is needed by community. And you can get feedback from issue's author! All are happy! Thx!

@ajwfrost You seem to be using this as your main bug tracker so you need to be closing these issues if you are resolving them.

I have the same issue on Mac with AIR 50.2.2.6
