Would be useful if the user guide described to the user how reserving and checking in is handled differently by the application.

As a user, I am not clear of the differences between reserving and checking in a guest, especially as the input is quite similar. Would be good to provide an explanation and brief overview for each.

In addition, it would be clearer if there were an explanation of how checking in a guest who had a room already booked would change the status from booked to checked in (or how it would not, depending on the application's functionality)

1. Rejected because this is a suggestion, to explain details between reservation and checkins - something the target users, hotel staff, are assumed to know.

2. User guide already states the changes to the UI upon checking in a person.
