Troubleshooting Guide: Phases

Provide content and input into developing the Airship 2.0 troubleshooting guide for the area of Phases.

For Phases, we would look to have some general steps to help with determining the problem & then develop content for the following areas:

• Identify Phase being executed
  • Understanding Phase.yaml
• Identify Executor
  • Understand Executor.yaml
  • Executor specific troubleshoting
  • Generic
    • SOPS/GPG (encrypter, decrypter)
    • Image Builder (iso-cloud-init, iso-build-image)
    • Kubectl-get-node
  • Kubernetes Apply (apply, apply-controlplane, apply-nowait)
  • Clusterctl-Move
  • Boot Configuration (future?)
  • Baremetal Manager
• Which logs to review, etc.

These topics are not set in stone but serve as a starting point to help guide. Any changes/modifications are more than welcome.

This will be an evolutionary process, so the expectation is to continue to build on the content as time goes on. @ak3216 is providing coordination for the overall troubleshooting guide & is available to assist.

Issue #10 acts as the Epic for the various Troubleshooting Guide components.
