Features:

preferably C++ (in order to integrate with a C++ port of OpenTLD, if we decide on one. See https://github.com/aismail/PredatorWS/issues/2)
simple to configure
support a standard protocol that is available on a wide variety of platforms
should be able to somehow encode images efficiently
(optional) support UDP for better speed (based on Alvaro's idea for streaming between Android and host on AndroRemote, but not sure it could be applied to a web sevice)

Incearca 1-2h sa-l faci sa mearga cu base64. Nu merge => renunti Mai cauta in C++ webservices frameworks Mai cauta si in Matlab daca exista ceva simplu

Installation time: ~1h

base64 is the default format to send a file. It is possible to send it as binary file by enabling the MTOM mechanism.

Initially, only the client needs to know the server's identity. The server is a collection of services which provide a set of operations (for example, uploading a file on the server).
