1 year ago From your comment it appears you are receiving data from the bounding box which at a minimum means we have coverage in at least some portion of the area of the bounding box.
We only transmit ais events as they are sent from the vessels ais system. This means if they are not transmitting, we are not receiving their position and cannot forward it too you. Marine tracker and VesselFinder (in addition to having more comprehensive ais networks then we do) keep track of the historical position and allow you to query this information. We do not unfortunately.
It is possible that either the ship is not actively transmitting an ais signal and or it is transmitting a signal but from a position our ais system is unable to read from.

Hilda, MMSI 244060415 is currently as i write in Weymouth 50.6,-2.45 and visible on Marine Traffic, VesselFinder, etc. I'm not getting reports for her in your feed. I've got the bounding box set to [[[51, -3], [50, -2]]].
Am I doing something wrong or is your data incomplete?
