issue: running `:Man` inside neovim does not open cppman #122

Closed matu3ba closed 2 years ago

matu3ba commented 3 years ago

Steps:

  1. pip3 install --user cppman
  2. cppman -c
  3. cppman -m true
  4. Download appimage for neovim download.sh:
    set eou # stop on failure
    curl -sS -L -O https://github.com/neovim/neovim/releases/download/nightly/nvim.appimage
    chmod +x nvim.appimage
  5. opening neovim ./nvim-appimage -u NORC and type :Man std::pair

Could you describe the necessary path modifications or setup inside the README? I guess my system man pages have preference, but I am not sure how to debug this.

Output of man -d:

ruid=1000, euid=1000
rgid=1000, egid=1000
++priv_drop_count = 1

Which man page do you want?
For example try »man man«.
