During Buffering it will start a second audio stream that is at 100% volume #1916

  1. Open a video of which the opening seconds are skipped due to sponsorblock
  2. YouTube will skip those seconds, however:
  3. It will play a second "audio stream" that is at 100% volume

that can only be stopped by reloading, after which it is gone for that one video

Was this resolved? I am experiencing the same issue and had to temporarily disable the extension.

Chrome Version 119.0.6045.160 (Official Build) (64-bit) Windows 10 22H2 SponsorBlock 5.4.27

What other extensions do you have

The issue recurred today with SponsorBlock disabled so the root cause must be a different extension, though it does happen far less often with SB disabled.

Youtube Shorts Auto Scroller 2.4.1 Clickbait Remover For Youtube 0.9 Return Youtube Dislike 3.0.0.12 Ublock Origin 1.53.0 Tampermonkey 4.19.0 (Disable YouTube Miniplayer, Youtube AdBlock ban bypass)

I turned off the extensions I have in common with with @Malavolence in an attempt to narrow this down.

I can confirm the "Youtube AdBlock Ban Bypass" userscript is causing this. https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/477498-youtube-adblock-ban-bypass/feedback

You both have an advlock ban bypass userscripts. Remove this, it's not needed. ublock works fine
