6 years ago I believe this was fixed during optimization. A new issue should be opened if something similar occurs again.

So far I have been unable to reproduce this, but I have seen a label with no corresponding bubble. This also seems to have led to an index out of bounds error after removing all (visible) clusters. Perhaps a leaf node somehow got deleted? Or a cluster got emptied without being deleted?
I do not have any clear ideas where to begin looking for this, but if anyone encounters issues with a cluster/leaf disappearing unexpectedly, a floating label with no corresponding node, or other related unexplained behavior, please comment with your situation here.
