Android Design Preview will not launch in OSX Mavericks #216

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Download. Extract Zip. Try to run app on OSX 10.9.2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I get the attached error.

Please provide any additional information below.

I also tried to run the .jar package. I got the stack trace:

Please temporarily set "Allow apps downloaded from" to "Anywhere" in the system 
Security preferences.
