Notification repeat every 5 minutes despite acknowledgment, deletion

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Text message or google voice message arrives and Notify Pro notifies.
2. view, respond, delete, any action regarding the notification.
3. notification occurs and re occurs at 5 minute intervals
4. Only action that defeats repeated notifications regarding the same messages 
is to power the phone off and then on again.  
5.  New messages arrive, and the behaviors starts all over again as to the new 
message(s)

What is the expected output?

No further notifications regarding the processed notifications.

 What do you see instead?

Continuing repeated notifications.

What version of the product are you using? 

April 19 2012 update, Droid Notify Pro and Lite

On what operating system?

Android 2.3.4. On Motorola Photon 4G model mb855 on Sprint

Please provide any additional information below.

This is so annoying that I will have to uninstall if it is not quickly 
resolved.

I need more information please.

1) Do you have reminders turned on in the Droid Notify application?

2) Notify Pro is triggered when an app posts a notification to the notification 
bar. Are you sure that you don't have some sort of "Reminder" turned on in your 
SMS or Google Voice apps?

I am still getting some sporadic reports of repeat notifications. I am not sure 
what's going on but I continue to search for a cause even though I am unable to 
reproduce this on my phones.
