Overview of 2014 - 2019 DO | Weekly Research Update

After our conversations last week, we decided that it would be best if I focus my attention on mechanistically explaining the spatial and temporal patterns of DO in the anthropogenic run (i.e. the long hindcast). Analysis of WWTP loading will be a small part that we can investigate a little later.

This is great Aurora. I totally agree with the plan to focus on the anthropogenic runs, especially with all those years. I'm curious about whether 2013 is anomalous because it is a spin-up year or if it was actually anomalous. Data suggests it might have been, which would be interesting. We'd have to check whether the data from the remaining years also shows hypoxia in deeper waters.

I like your figure 6. In the spirit of comparing with previous results, can you make a similar time series of hypoxic volume? This would allow you to compare directly with Ahmed et al. 2019 (Ecology report) Fig. 38.
