All of our markup was completed for the midterm, the next step in regards to mark-up text is for me to check over them for both consistency and accurate understanding of the Spanish lyrics. I am hoping to have this done, as well as a list of any discrepancies I may find, by our next meeting. We coded and put up an index page on our site, and used that as a launching point to start discussing website design and layout. The three of us are going to draw out designs and make layout decisions before next meeting. So far, we have decided on a warm color scheme and a horizontal menu but we still need to choose the specific pages we want to include and how they should be organized. Based off Marion's suggestion, we pushed a markdown document to our repo in which we can write up the text descriptions and bios that will go on our site to save time later on.

I think you guys are off to a great start with your website development! Our group has finished our markup for the most part too, we just have few inconsistences to clean up. We have also started to think more about our website, such as making an index page and how to lay out each page. I did some sketches for my group and I think they will benefit your group too once you start making them - they really help you to visualize what you want for your project.

It seems like your group is doing great. You already have your markups completed and have already started thinking about website design ideas. My group had a similar midterm goal and now we are also focusing on the website design, but we have yet to design a color scheme, so you guys are ahead of us. Has your group thought about how your website's layout may look like (like where you want to place the tabs or pages, and what goes on each page)? I know for my group we are having all of our tales with their markups being on one page that allows you to choose the tale you would like to read.
