2017 design changes #150

Some details are below. Let me know if you have any questions or ideas about how to do anything more efficiently. Also once you take a look, please let me know how much work you think it will be.

The vertically aligned vote arrows will widen the bar below post. Are you OK with that? Or should the arrows be reduced in size or flattened may be?

I think a little wider is OK. I would not reduce the arrows in size any more (I did reduce them very slightly in the new mockups). What do you mean by flattened?

I talked with some more people and I think we can remove the downvote option altogether. Maybe in the future we can add it back, but for now it's not that useful and is more of a distraction.
