Will not "Download Missing Covers" from within Cfg general settings #52

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Config v70r15, cios 249(base56), D2Xv8-final

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go into Settings / Updates / Download Missing Covers
2. If I manually go into each individual game, then I can perfectly run a
"Download Missing Covers" for that single game.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should just download ALL the Missing Covers for ALL games within Config 70 .
Wifi is there.

Instead I get this error in the text lines of the running download. "Error: no
data"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Config v70r15, ciox 240(base56), D2Xv8 final, HBC 1.0.8

Please provide any additional information below.

Works perfectly on all previous official "release" versions of Config, just
seem to only have this issue with r15 so far.

After this has been running for sometime, with lots of "Error: no data" lines,
I will get an Exception (DSI occurred! and the Wii will restart a minute later
and default into HBC

Hum, I have a similar but not same problem in v70r35, it WAS NOT getting black
screen (Exception DSI occurred!) errors, but download retrievals from the
website seemed to timeout on some of the downloads. Downloads always work
perfectly when I do one game at a time. As a work around I just go into games
with missing covers and download them individually. Note, my Wifi is weak in
the current Wii location as is going completely across the house. But I DO have
wifi and is good enough to watch videos in WiiMC all day long. Maybe we need to
increase Config's timeout?
