Get a phone booth in the Stavros Niarchos Foundation library #4

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The Stavros Niarchos Foundation library doesn't have spaces for remote workers to take calls, which single-handedly disqualifies it as an otherwise wonderful/free coworking space.

Describe the solution you'd like I want to get the SNFL to put in at least one phone booth.

Describe alternatives you've considered Instead of a phone booth, which has potential security concerns (especially if an off-kilter individual got in one), the library could designate one of their many class/seminar rooms as a "loud room" for people to take calls.

Tasks Include specific tasks in the order they need to be done.

Budget, Labor, and Bill of Materials Follow-up emails of support after initial contact is successfully made. For example, I would drop a note in the MNY Discord asking everyone to send emails saying how they love the SNFL, and would love it even more with a phone booth/loud room.

I sent the following email:

SUBJECT: Phone booth/loud room in the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library

"Dear All,

My friends and I all love working at the library you generously support in Midtown--it's truly a game changer for us and so many others, and it's at the top of the resource list I share with friends. So...thank you!

One thing I was wondering: would it be possible to install a phone booth or designate one of the classroom spaces as a "loud room" where people could take calls? It would open the library up to many more people, and fundamentally change their experience of the library. I'm sure there are challenges that would come with this, and my friend Priya wrote about them here, but I'd love to help make it happen if possible.

What do you think?

Best, Daniel Golliher"
