Unable to view session data in GUI with multiple sessions #42

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I have setup 2 conf files for 2 different nodes each with different db and
port
2. Node 1 is setup as port 4242 which monitors eth0 (10G)...Node 2 is setup as
4244 which monitors eth1 (10G)
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Both sessions have been created and also gui db but no data is displayed in
GUI. All services are running on both sessions.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Ubuntu Server "ubuntu-12.04.2-server-amd64"
cxtracker_0.9.5-1_amd64.deb
openfpc-0.6-314

Please provide any additional information below.

Changing the user's default node doesn't help. I have started from scratch
several times by formatting and reinstalling OS and all software. I like the
idea but following all docs and issues in this forum has not helped me. I am a
green horn and need assistance badly.

I'm confused as well. If you want to monitor different nics, do you enter
multiple node and interface statements in a single config file or do you create
multiple config files with one node configured in each and then start mulitple
intances pointed to the different configs. Additionally do you set up separate
databases for each node?

I've read the documentation a dozen times and there's no clarity on how run
multiple nodes, only that you can do multiple nodes.

Any further on this? I'd also like to monitor multiple interfaces.
